Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has formed Ukraine's delegation for talks with the European Investment Bank (EIB), over the signing of a financial agreement (project "The main credit for small and medium entrepreneurship and institutions with midcap") between Ukraine and the bank.

According to the decree, Ukrainian Deputy Finance Minister Vitaliy Lisovenko will lead the delegation.

Poroshenko permitted the delegation’s leader to preliminarily consult with the Foreign Ministry over the composition of the delegation.

The delegation also includes Board Chairman of PJSC State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine Oleksandr Hrytsenko, representatives of the Finance Ministry, Justice Ministry, National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), Economic Development and Trade Ministry, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and representatives of the Ukreximbank.

The decree also approves a directive for the Ukrainian delegation to negotiate with the EIB over signing a financial agreement (project “The main credit for small and medium entrepreneurship and institutions with midcap”) between Ukraine and the EIB.

As reported, on Dec. 22, Ukraine and the EIB signed an agreement to allocate 200 million euro under a credit program meant to restore the country’s economy, and 400 million euro as part of the framework of the investment project “The main credit for small and medium entrepreneurship and institutions with midcap.”
