Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has expressed concern over the situation in Turkey.
“The basic principles of democracy must be respected. Ukraine supports the democratically elected president and the government of the Turkish Republic,” the Ukrainian president wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday.
