The election advertising on television on the First National Channel will cost from UAH 110 to UAH 513 per second depending on the time of broadcasting, the Segodnya newspaper said on Saturday.

A second of air time for advertising at the best time (from 2100 to 2300) will cost UAH 513, and the cheapest time will be an interval between 1100 and 1700 at a price of UAH 110 per second, the newspaper reads.

The Kyiv regional channel has lower prices. The price of advertising during weekends from 1815 to 2315 is UAH 4.86 per second and that on working days from 0000 to 0700 and from 0900 to 1400 is UAH 2.25 per second.

“Advertising should not take more than one minute. As a rule, we broadcast advertising clips one or two times per hour, but it is possible to make more frequent repetition,” the TV channel told Segodnya.

The newspaper also gives prices of advertising placed on billboards. According to the head of the Association of Outdoor Advertising of Ukraine, Artem Bidenko, the most expensive billboards are in Kyiv. Their prices vary from UAH 2,000 to UAH 6,000 per month. The top places are Kreschatyk Street and the Boryspil highway. The cheapest billboards placed in villages cost up to UAH 1,000.
