Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree appointing Viktor Merkushev as a member of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
The presidential decree is dated Jan. 3, the presidential press office reported on Thursday, Jan.5.
Merkushev was reappointed to this post after the reorganization of the commission.
As reported, in late November 2011, the head of state reorganized the NERC and confirmed the powers of its head, Serhiy Titenko.
