Russian President Vladimir Putin is to meet with members of the house council of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly on Thursday, March 27, the Kremlin press office said.
“The main topics of the discussion will be the integration of the two
new Russian constituent regions into a single legal, economic,
cultural, social and administrative field of our country,” the press
office said.
The meeting will be attended by house speaker Valentina Matviyenko,
her deputies and chairpersons of the Federation Council committees.
This format of discussing the Federation Council’s key areas of work is expected to become regular.
