Members of the Regions Party parliamentary faction have blocked the tribune in the parliament.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, some 15 MPs from the Regions Party surrounded the tribune in the morning on Tuesday, June 5 before the start of the parliament’s sitting.

Around 30 members of the BYT-Batkivschyna faction have gathered in the sitting hall.

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn is holding a meeting with the faction leaders.

Meanwhile, people protesting against and supporting the adoption of a bill on the state language policy are gathering near the parliament.
