The leader of the Regions Party faction in parliament, Oleksandr Yefremov, has said that if the opposition blocks the Verkhovna Rada for 30 days, the president will have the right to dissolve parliament.

“If they block [the parliament] for a month, the president will then
have the right to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada,” he told reporters in
Kyiv on Thursday.

He also said that talks with opposition representatives who are blocking the parliament had not yet produced any result.

“We told them yesterday [on Wednesday] that when they are ready to
work, we are ready to come to them and start working,” Yefremov said.

As reported, Batkivschyna faction deputies early on Thursday blocked
the rostrum and presidium of the Ukrainian parliament in protest against
the decision to strip their colleague
