You're reading: Russia has not yet provided detailed lists of its humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Russia has not yet provided to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) a detailed specification of the goods, which it plans to send to the Donbas, Laurent Corbaz, ICRC Head of Operations for Europe and Central Asia, has said at a meeting with Deputy Head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly.

“Corbaz said that the Russian side has not yet provided a detailed specification of the goods, not informing what delays its clearance, and said there was no agreement on the assurances of the ICRC’s safe work,” reads a statement posted on the Web site of the Ukrainian president on Friday.

He noted that the delivery of humanitarian aid to Luhansk should be preceded by the respective preparatory work of the Red Cross mission in the city.

However, Corbaz confirmed the receipt by the Red Cross of the first batches of Ukrainian humanitarian aid, which are already in Starobilsk, and noted that its distribution in Luhansk region would begin shortly.

Chaly noted that the Ukrainian side was doing everything to help citizens who are now in the conflict zone and was grateful to the ICRC for its active assistance in implementing this mission.
