Poland is ready to help Ukraine to conduct the key reforms, Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has said.

Poland is ready to provide Ukraine assistance in three directions:
local government reform, decentralization of power and the transparent
use of budget funds, Sikorski said a briefing on Wednesday after talks
with his Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Deschytsia.

Sikorski also added that Polish representatives would participate in
observing the presidential elections in Ukraine on May 25, Sikorski
said.

The Polish foreign minister also said that during his visit to
Ukraine he would meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk,
representatives of the IMF mission, and visit Odesa to meet with the
local authorities and students.

“For us, the Polish experience in conducting of the reforms is very
important. This especially concerns combating corruption and the
decentralization of power,” Deschytsia said, in turn.

The Ukrainian minister thanked Sikorski for Poland’s support in issues that are important for Ukraine at present.
