Some 1.705 million internally displaced people (1.346 million families) had been registered in Ukraine as of Jan. 29, 2016, reads a report on the results of implementing the program of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 2015, posted on the governmental portal.

According to the report, 714,867 families of this number appealed for subsidies to cover living expenses, including payment for housing and utilities services, while 669,487 of the families obtained the funds. In addition, more than 80 percent of pensioners, living in the areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions not controlled by Ukrainian authorities, receive pensions from the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the occupation of Crimea and the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas 62,700 residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions have appealed to the State Employment Service for a job, in particular, 50,900 citizens who were registered.

In 2015 the State Employment Service facilitated the employment of 17,200 internally displaced people.
