You're reading: State Penitentiary Service: Masseur allowed to visit Tymoshenko at her request

The administration of the Kachanivska penal colony (Kharkiv) on Monday allowed a masseur to visit former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to perform massage therapy, the office of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region has reported.

The report notes that the visit of the masseur is being made at the personal request of Tymoshenko and by prior agreement with the Ukrainian Health Ministry.

At the same time, the report says that Tymoshenko "is again rejecting the medical treatment prescribe by the Health Ministry’s commission and examination by the health care workers of Kachanivska Penal Colony No. 54."

"At the same time, the condition of Tymoshenko is satisfactory," reads the statement.
