You're reading: State service on Crimea, displaced persons established in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has decided to establish the State Service of Ukraine dealing with the issue concerning the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and temporarily displaced people, which will be a central executive agency subordinated to the government.

Relevant resolution No. 297 was signed by Ukrainian Prime Minister
Arseniy Yatsenyuk on July 17 and published on the government portal on
Aug. 5.

According to the resolution, the Finance Ministry has been instructed
to prepare proposals for amending the law on the state budget for 2014
to provide funding for the operation of the state service.

A chairman of the state service should within two weeks after the
appointment submit to the Cabinet of Ministers draft regulations of the
organization, as well as the maximum number of its employees and its
location.
