The Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union has said that, according to their information, the authorities are preparing a provocation against pro-European protesters.
“According to our information, mercenaries hired by the authorities are preparing to seize a gun shop or even an ammunition depot. At the same time, Yanukovych’s regime and the media he controls will present these actions as a seizure of weapons by Maidan activists. In particular, people who will be involved in the provocation may have Svoboda’s insignia on them,” the press service of the association said on Saturday.
“We want to stress that neither members of the Svoboda, nor any activists of Maidan have anything to do with this,” Svoboda stressed.
