Energy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boyko has stated that by late January the Ukraine will pose its approaches and start negotiations with Turkey on gas supplies through its territory. Boyko did not inform about the sources but apart from Iran the region presently has no free gas volumes to satisfy Ukrainian appetite, and possibilities of gas transport system of Turkey itself are limited.
