“All Ukrainians, regardless of political affiliations, religion, language, must unite in order to get rid of the criminal powers that be. I appeal to young people, students, entrepreneurs, vehicle owners, to all Ternopil residents who care, and urge all of them to go to Kyiv,” the mayor said in his statement, which is posted on Ternopil City Council’s Web site on Saturday.

He called on Ternopil residents to come to the popular assembly in Kyiv at 12 noon on December 1 with blue and yellow flags.

“At dawn on November 30 there was a brutal and bloody crackdown on peaceful Euromaidan protesters on Kyiv’s Independence Square. The country has been witnessing brutal repression, the country is falling in a dictatorship,” Nadal said while commenting on the events happened on Kyiv’s central square in the early hours of Saturday.
