WARSAW - Ukraine's reputation will be "seriously damaged" if a humane solution to the case of Ukraine’s imprisoned former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is not found, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference on Thursday.

"Let the president and prime minister of Ukraine have no doubt that the case [of Yulia Tymoshenko] is a test of the credibility of the current Ukrainian authorities, and that Ukraine’s reputation will be seriously damaged if they do not find a solution that we consider civilized before the European championship," he said.

At the same time, he criticized calls for a boycott of the upcoming European football championship in Ukraine.
