Ukraine's former Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has asked the court to evaluate the fact that no original instruction on holding the gas talks included in the materials of the gas case.

"If the main document that is being discussed and that forms the whole criminal case is not original at all, then what did the Prosecutor General’s Office do? Why did not they withdraw the original and attach it to the case?" Tymoshenko said at Kyiv’s Pechersky District Court on Wednesday.

Tymoshenko noted that the materials of the gas case contain only a copy of the document. She said she wants the document to be checked by experts.

"I would like the court to evaluate this document," she said.

The former premier added, "I cannot exclude the possibility that the instruction in the materials was faked by the current authorities."
