Ukraine's former Prime Minister and leader of the party Batkivschyna, Yulia Tymoshenko, will probably be taken to court, where an arrest warrant will be issued for her after being questioned in the Prosecutor General's Office on Tuesday, Sergei Vlasenko, a lawyer for Tymoshenko, said.

"She has now been detained and she will be sent to court where an arrest warrant will be issued for her today. We have received all orders from the investigator," Vlasenko told the Internet publication Ukrainska Pravda.

Vlasenko denied the information stated in the order issued by the Prosecutor General’s Office, which states that Tymoshenko "failed to show up [for investigative actions], but appeared on Shuster Live."

"They want to arrest Tymoshenko for appearing on Shuster Live," Vlasenko said.

Earlier on Tuesday, First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin said Tymoshenko will not be arrested.
