You're reading: Tymoshenko not to pull out from president race under any circumstances

Leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko has said that she will not pull out of the presidential race, and that her main objective is to put an end to injustice and lawlessness.

She announced this at a rally in the town of Khmelnyk, Vinnytsia
region, on Thursday commenting on a suggestion by presidential candidate
Petro Poroshenko’s team that she should pull out of the elections for
the sake of the unity in Ukraine, Batkivscnhyna’s press service
reported.

Tymoshenko said she believes that the public should draw conclusions
from the mistakes of the Orange Revolution, and that she has no right to
fail to fulfill the demands of the Euromaidan, and therefore is obliged
to prevent oligarchic clans from getting into power.

According to her, oligarchs are currently “trying to take control of
all financial flows, of all the key monopolies, get all the principal
posts into their possession.” Tymoshenko stressed that they placed their
bets on the presidential elections and may take revenge on the
participants and achievements of the revolution.
