"Ukraine is being completely isolated not just by the European Union. We still can’t find common ground with Russia. Despite ceremonial communiques by the authorities that we have been signing agreements with Russia in October, November and December, there have still not been any [agreements], and I doubt that there will be anything in this regard before the end of the Russian presidential elections," Ukrainian MP Andriy Pavlovsky (BYT-Batkivschyna faction) said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Pavlovsky said that the Ukrainian authorities have allowed Russia to humiliate them.

Meanwhile, Director of the Center for Political and Conflict Studies Mykhailo Pohrebynsky said that from the very beginning, the Ukrainian authorities set themselves up with an unachievable task – signing an EU Association Agreement and solving the gas issue at the same time.
