The State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine has allowed Yevhenia Tymoshenko, as an exception, to have a three-day meeting with her mother, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the service's press office reported on Monday.

“We explain that the possibility of holding long-term meetings with prisoners in in-patient facilities (including Ukrzaliznytsia’s Central Clinical Hospital) is not envisaged. However, in accordance with Tymoshenko’s statement, in which she asks for permission to organize a long-term meeting with her daughter on her birthday (November 27), such permission has been granted as an exception,” the press service reported.

The meeting will last from November 26 to November 28 in Tymoshenko’s ward in hospital.
