UEFA has launched an official platform for the resale of tickets for Euro 2012 European Football Championship final matches, according to the Ukraine 2012 Information Center.

People that are not able to use the tickets they won in the lottery will be able to resell them at nominal price, the center said in a press release.

"Applications for buying the 2012 tickets were made on the UEFA.com Web site on March 1-31," reads the press release

"During this period 12,149,425 applications were submitted by football fans from 206 countries. The tickets were distributed through a lottery. Thanks to the resale portal, those who [did not win in the lottery] will have a chance to buy a ticket from fans that are unable to use them. The buyer and the seller will not be in contact directly – UEFA will be a mediator through the portal, which will work until March 1, 2012."

UEFA notes that its official Web site is the only place where you can buy tickets for the championship matches in Ukraine and Poland.
