Ukraine's Foreign Ministry on Thursday handed one more note to the Russian Embassy in Kyiv demanding confirmation of "the absence of personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation outside the bases in Ukraine of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation," the ministry spokesman said on Friday.

The note was handed to “a diplomat from the Embassy of the Russian Federation” who had been summoned to the ministry. The embassy had received such a note on Wednesday, Yevhen Perebynis told a briefing.

He said the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow had been instructed to put the same demand before the Russian Foreign Ministry because of Moscow’s non-recognition of the current Ukrainian government as a legitimate authority.
