You're reading: Ukraine Interior Ministry reshuffled

Vitaliy Oshovsky has replaced Oleksiy Krykun as head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's public security department as part of a broad reshuffle at the ministry, its press service said.  

Vitaliy Yalovenko was appointed to head the ministry’s internal security department instead of Oleksandr Tulayev.

Yuriy Moroz replaced Valeriy Koriak at the post of Kyiv police chief.

Anatoliy Sirenko was appointed as director of the State Road Traffic Inspectorate following the dismissal of Volodymyr Astapkovych from this post.

Anatoliy Hohuadze replaced Viktor Babenko as the Dnipropetrovsk region’s police chief.

Leonid Boiko was appointed as police chief for the Cherkasy region instead of Volodymyr Lipandin.

Zakarpattia regional police chief Vasyl Vartsaba was also dismissed.
