The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland urges Russia to release a Crimean Tatar leader, Mejlis Deputy Chairman Ilmi Umerov, and return the occupied Crimea to Ukraine.

The British Embassy to Ukraine published a relevant statement on August 31.
