Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has named Serhiy Pereloma the first deputy chairman of the management board at Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy, according to the Aug. 8 government order No. 713-r.

Pereloma had already worked at Naftogaz. He became acting first
deputy of Naftogaz’s management board in February 2005 and was first
deputy between April and December of 2005.

On Aug. 6, the Cabinet of Ministers fired Naftogaz’s first deputy
chiefs Valentyn Franchuk and Ihor Prokopiv. Franchuk was fired for
“refusing to give access to state secrets,” while the second quit on his
own free will.
