You're reading: Ukrainian, German foreign ministers discuss Poroshenko’s peace plan

 Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin briefed his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the key provisions of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's peace plan and preparations for signing an association agreement with the European Union in a telephone conversation on June 20, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

“Pavlo Klimkin told Frank-Walter Steinmeier about the principal provisions of the Ukrainian president’s peace plan regarding the settlement of the situation in the country’s eastern regions and preparations for signing an association agreement between Ukraine and the EU,” it said.

The parties also discussed plans of continuing the Ukrainian-German dialogue on the entire range of issues of mutual interest, it said.
