The Defense Ministries of Ukraine and Russia have agreed on resumption of drillings of military air carrier pilots at Saki-based Nitka aerodrome in Crimea, the press service of the Defense Ministry told the Ukrainian News agency.

According to Defense Minister Yurii Yekhanurov, in compliance with the bilateral agreement, Russia will pay relevant charges for use of the military aerodrome.

The minister also said that over several years, the sides have failed to reach consent in this issue.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in September 2008, Yekhanurov said there were problems in use of the Nitka complex between Ukraine and Russia.
