You're reading: Ukrainian socialist make public their party ticket for Rada elections

 The Socialist Party of Ukraine (SPU) has approved a list of 175 candidates who will run in the parliamentary elections this fall.

The Socialist Party approved a list of its candidates for the Verkhovna Rada at its 28th congress on Tuesday.

The top five includes Socialist Party Chairman Petro Ustenko, deputy
head of the party Natalia Bondar, Lawyer Oleksandr Hryhoryev, Head of
the Union of Young Socialist Lialia Beliayeva, Chairman of the Children
of War Party, which joined the Socialist Party, Valeriy Ivaschenko.

Socialist Party Leader Oleksandr Moroz will run for parliament in a
single-seat constituency in the town of Myronivka, Kyiv region. The
congress supported his nomination unanimously.

The socialists also adopted the party’s election platform.
