electronic map will make it possible to obtain real time information on
the whereabouts of any train, locomotive, or wagon. Data on the status
of main objects and the movement of rolling stock in real time will be
transferred to the automatic freight management system.

“Satellite navigation systems, the communications system, will
provide full and complete information on the location and movement of
all trains automatically. The automatic freight management system will
calculate the mileage of cars, locomotives, and the load on the tracks,
and rolling stock repairs will be scheduled consequently,” the press
service said, citing Ukrzaliznytsia Director General Volodymyr Kozak.

As of July 24, 2012 some 18,075 of the 21,700 km of Ukrainian railway infrastructure had been included in the digital map.

at Ukrzaliznytsia, Volodymyr Murzin, special coordinates will help find
