You're reading: Web cameras stolen from polling station in Poltava region

Two web cameras have been stolen from polling station No. 150 in the village of Petrashivka (Hlobyne district, Poltava region), which is located in the village club, the media liaisons office of the regional department of police reported on Thursday.

The web cameras were stolen the day after they were installed.

“Unidentified individuals gain access to the building by breaking a window. In addition to the cameras, they stole the entire complex, including a laptop and a modem,” the police said.

According to police officers, the room was not guarded. A criminal case has been opened over the theft and break-in.

Single-member electoral district No. 150 includes Komsomolsk, part of the Avtozavodsky district of Kremenchuk, as well as Hlobyne and Kremenchuk districts.

The parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
