Hungary's Wizz Air and Wizz Air Ukraine (Kyiv) have announced a special price offer – Hr 349 plus a fee for booking – for passengers of canceled flights of AeroSvit Airline (Kyiv), the press service of Wizz Air Ukraine has reported.

The press service said that passengers of AeroSvit, who have tickets for flights between Kyiv and Budapest or Warsaw, can buy tickets via the Wizz Air information center and use the airline’s service on the routes from Kyiv to Budapest or Katowice.

If AeroSvit cancels the Kyiv-London flight, Wizz Air will offer a fare of Hr 699 plus a booking fee for the Kyiv-London-Kyiv flight.

“Wizz Air and Wizz Air Ukraine offer the tariffs to reduce the consequences of intermissions in operation of AeroSvit and due to Christmas holidays. The number of tickets at the special price is restricted due to the number of seats, so we ask passengers to book the tickets as soon as possible,” reads the report of Wizz Air.

Passengers with electronic tickets of AeroSvit Airline with departure dates from January 7 to January 31, 2013 can apply to the information centers and take up the offer. The number of tickets is restricted. The re-booking is to be made by January 15, 2013. The booking fee is UAH 92.

As reported, hundreds of Ukrainians in other countries have not faced delays in returning to Ukraine because of the cancellation and delays of AeroSvit flights.
