You're reading: Yanukovych demands parliament immediately consider bill on pension reform

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, through his representative in the Verkhovna Rada - Regions Party MP Yuriy Miroshnychenko - has demanded that parliament consider a bill on the reform of the country's pension system this week.

A statement posted on the Web site of the Mirror of the Week Ukraine publication notes that Miroshnychenko announced the demand by the head of state on Tuesday at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the leaders of parliamentary factions.

The deputy said that Yanukovych had also demanded the consideration of a bill on state guarantees for the execution of court rulings.
