Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed amendments to some Ukrainian laws concerning the age limit for government employees, diplomats and employees of local government agencies, the presidential press service reported on Thursday.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a respective law on Dec. 9.

The document states that the age limit for government employees, diplomats and employees of local government agencies is 65 years.

Previously, the age limit for civil servants was 62 years for men and 60 years for women.
