A rally in support of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is being held near the monument to Taras Shevchenko in Kharkiv, at the site of the traditional meetings of the anti-government Euromaidan.

A big stage with a title “Kharkiv Wants Stability and Well-being!” was set up near the monument.

People are standing on both sides along Sumska Street from Svoboda
(Freedom) Square to opera theatre holding flags of Regions Party and
state flags of Ukraine.

The rally activists are refusing to speak with the media.

The people on stage are delivering speeches against the holding of
the nationwide forum of Euromaidans in Kharkiv, speaking of the possible
losses Ukraine could have suffered if it had signed the Association
Agreement with the European Union, and about advantages of the
agreements reached between the Ukrainian and Russian presidents.
