Leader of the Front for Change Party and MP Arseniy Yatseniuk will report on the situation in Ukraine to the participants of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"My task is to carry out two issues: express the opinion of the united opposition on the events in Ukraine and participate in a discussion on the economic future of the whole world and of Ukraine in the world," Yatseniuk told Interfax-Ukraine in an exclusive interview.

According to the politician, he will represent Ukraine’s united opposition at the forum in Davos.

"We agreed on such a format with the Batkivschyna Party. [Deputy Head of the Batkivschyna Party Hryhoriy] Nemyria also received an invitation, but he will go to Strasbourg [to a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe ]," Yatseniuk said.

He also said that he was planning to address the first deputy head of the Batkivschyna Party, Oleksandr Turchynov, and other members of the opposition with a request that they express their opinions on the key issues that are to be raised at the forum in Davos.

Yatseniuk added that he was to hold several meetings in Davos, in particular, with Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and the famous U.S. financier George Soros.

"There will be several more meetings, depending on the development of events," Yatseniuk added.

According to the press service of the Front for Change, Yatseniuk will attend the Eighth Davos Ukrainian Lunch, which will be held as part of the World Economic Forum.
