Members of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the Ukrainian parliament and other high-ranking officials will receive only salaries of Hr 6,500 and no bonuses, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said.
“Today, we’ve made the decision regarding salaries of Ukrainian
lawmakers, cabinet members and high-rank officials – minus Hr 10,000
for each official and lawmaker. We left only salaries, which will total Hr 6,500 instead of Hr 17,000,” Yatsenyuk said at a briefing in Kyiv
on Thursday, July 31.
He said that he believes that this is the right decision.
