Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has vowed that there will be no confrontation with the president as long as he remains the country's premier.

“When does the path toward reforms end? It ends when the premier and
the president begin competing for power. I can state officially that
there will never be a single instance of confrontation between the two
branches of power – the institution of the president and prime minister
of Ukraine as the executive branch of power – under any circumstances,”
he told the ICTV television program on Monday evening, July 28.
