On June 29, 1998, French riot police arrest an English supporter in Saint-Etienne after scuffles broke out between drinkers and the police when CRS marched on the town's main square to disperse the crowd who had been watching the Holland-Yugoslavia match on a giant screen. English police have created a travel ban for hundreds of "football hooligans," who would be prevented from traveling to Ukraine or Poland during the Euro 2012 soccer championships this summer.

Hundreds of English football hooligans will be banned from traveling to the Euro 2012 football championships in Ukraine, says a spokesman for the police in northern England, where football hooliganism statistics increased over the last few years.
