You're reading: Artillery strikes against Horlivka resumed

Artillery strikes were resumed against residential areas of the city of Horlivka, Donetsk region, on Tuesday morning, July 29, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported.

Gunfire opened from the direction of the village of Mykytivka.

Several residential buildings and a local supermarket were damaged in the village of Pobeda.

Ukrainian military have repeatedly said that Russian-sponsored rebels
are shelling residential neighborhoods in the anti-terrorist operation
zone to discredit the Ukrainian army.
