You're reading: City Council: Power supply restored in several parts of Donetsk

Emergency brigades restored power supply to several parts of Donetsk on Tuesday afternoon, the Donetsk City Council said on its website on July 29.

“Emergency brigades have restored power supply at four transformer
substations in the Kyivsky district, which lost power this morning.
Electricity has been supplied to 54 residential buildings in
Politbiytsiv, Polihrafichna and Sobinova Streets and in Zasiadko
Avenue,” the statement said.

According to Ukraine’s largest power company, DTEK, power supplies
resumed for the Kuibyshevsky district, Tochmash Plant, the KVK
production and trade center and the Donetsk Railroad. Also, efforts are
underway to repair power supply networks in the Petrovsky District.

The trolleybus route N2 and tram route N1 have been restored as far as the train station.

At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) trains are
unable to reach the Donetsk train station because of the rail tracks are
damaged.
