Moscow - Militants in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Ukrainians could exchange their captives in a 20 by 20 scheme as early as this week, DPR first deputy premier Andriy Purhin told Interfax.

“Swaps are being readied and could take place as early as this week. I
saw the lists. These are mainly ordinary people,” Purhin said.

Online consultations continue over safety for international experts in the air crash zone, he said.

“Perhaps, it will be possible to organize the next round of such consultations via Skype today,” Purhin said.

Ukrainian officials have not commented on these statements yet.
