European Parliament president urges compliance with Minsk document

Brussels – European Parliament President Martin Schulz welcomed the mediating efforts of German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande promoting a ceasefire for Ukraine on Feb. 12.

“Welcome Hollande-Merkel brokered ceasefire agreement in Minsk on Ukraine. All sides must now abide by agreement, turn words into actions,” he tweeted.
