Moscow - The leader of the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Valeriy Bolotov, has dismissed the "republic's" government, according to a decree published on the LPR Web site.

“In response to the enactment of the law “On the system of the executive branch of power in the Luhansk People Republic” and the termination of the law “On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Luhansk People’s Republic”, I have ordered the dismissal of the government of the Luhansk People’s Republic,” the decree says.

Bolotov appointed Marat Bashirov as the “republic’s” acting prime minister, and Dmytro Semenov and Vasyl Nikitin as acting first deputy prime ministers.

“Simultaneously, I instruct the acting ministers of the government to continue to fulfill their duties pending the formation of a new government of the Luhansk People’s Republic,” Bolotov said in his decree.

Bolotov also gave Bashirov one week to submit a document detailing the structure of the LPR executive branch of power and a list of appropriate agencies.
