Moscow - Russia is banning the import of a number of products from countries that imposed sanctions against Russia from Aug. 7 for a period of one year, but will be ready to revise this decision if the situation changes, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.

“If our partners demonstrate a constructive approach towards
cooperation issues, the government will be ready to reconsider the
timeframe of these measures,” Medvedev said at a government session on
Thursday, Aug. 7.
