The city ambulance service responded to 186 calls on Wednesday, July 9, and six patients had gunfire wounds and traumas caused by the hostilities. They were given first aid and taken to hospital.

The city emergency situations department said there had been no fires in the city in the past 24 hours but its specialists visited sites of explosions.

Artillery fire was heard in various places in Luhansk on July 9. Shells damaged an apartment building facade and a fence and smashed windows in the town of Vydne-1. An apartment building was destroyed in an explosion in Teplychne.
