Polish Catholic priest Pawel Witek went missing in Donetsk on May 27 afternoon, online edition OstroV said quoting the priest's Facebook friends.

“Reportedly, Pawel Witek, a Catholic priest who came from Poland to visit Roman Catholic church rector Rev. Nikolai, went missing in Donetsk at around noon on May 27,” it said.

“There is tentative information that Pawel is being held by representatives of the unrecognized “Donetsk People’s Republic” in the Ukrainian Security Service building they have occupied.” On May 27 night priest was expected to come to Constitution Square, where daily inter-religious prayers for peace in Ukraine are said, but contact with him was lost. His whereabouts are still unknown.
