Illegal armed groups shelled School No. 30 in Donetsk with heavy artillery on July 29, spokesman for the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko has said.
He said at a briefing that militants were firing in the
direction of the village of Marianivka, Starobesheve district, Donetsk
region, on the southern outskirts of Donetsk.
Lysenko also said that gunmen on July 29 resumed the shelling of
residential areas in Horlivka, Donetsk region, and Luhansk. According to
operational data, terrorists were firing on Luhansk from the town of
Sukhodilsk, to the southeast of the regional center. Reports of possible
casualties are being verified.
“Ukrainian servicemen have repeatedly stated that militants are
firing on the residential areas of towns in the ATO area in order to
discredit the Ukrainian army,” Lysenko said.
