The Ukrainian army claims it still controls and is successfully defending Donetsk airport.
“We are still in control of the Donetsk airport despite another attempt to storm it (. . .) There are no casualties amongst Ukrainian servicemen,” says a report the army operation press center has posted on Facebook.
The Ukrainian army said its positions were attacked several times on Oct. 15 in the area of Debaltseve, Chornukhyne, Ridkodub, Avdiyivka and Hranitne.
