The State Saving Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank, Kyiv) has restored its operation in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, the bank's press service has reported.

“The operation of the bank has been restored: AMTs are operating, cards are being serviced, pensions and wages are being paid. I’ve got the evidence personally. We’ll restore the operation of all departments in several days. We’re staying calm and doing our work,” reads the press release of the bank, citing Oschadbank Board Chairman Andriy Pyshny.

According to the press release, Pyshny made a working visit to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk to personally monitor the restoration of the bank’s operation.

He visited the central departments of the bank in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, met employees of the departments and thanked them for the provision of the operation of the bank in the difficult moment of the armed conflict.

“They worked in the extreme conditions closing the departments only when they were in the epicenter of warfare. We’re proud of our colleagues in Donbas. These are ordinary people who fulfilled their civil duty with honor,” he said.

According to the press release, Pyshyny jointly with Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Infrastructure Minister Maksym Burbak met soldiers of the Kyiv-1 special battalion of the Interior Ministry, which was fully formed from volunteers.
